I. Discovery Methods:

	The PWG is not necessarily the forum for discovery protocol 
	invention, however we do need to define best practices and
	templates for the current discovery mechanisms......

	See slides for the currently defined templates.

	SLP(with IETF template)
	LDAP (with IETF schema)
	DMTF (CIM schema)
	Active Directory (with MS schema)
	NDS (with Novell schema)
	SNMP 
	UPnP v1 (SSDP) (follow-on versions and methods)
	Apple Rendezvous/DNSsd
	UDDI "T Model" (for public print services?)

	
Question: Should (and/or) How should these be prioritized within the PWG?
	LDAP most important, UDDI least.......??


II. Discovery Domains:

	a.Home-SOHO 
		(Rendezvous, SSDP, SLP, SNMP)

	b.Enterprise
		(SLP, LDAP, Active Directory, NDS, *SNMP, *DNSsd,
		 *SSDP)

	c.Global (internet)
		(UDDI currently no printer or print service T-model)

III. Discovery Best Practices:

	Need PWG Discovery Best Practice working draft/group?

		a.PSI Implementers guide w/ recommendation
		b.WBMM Implementers guide w/ recommendation
		c.IFX Implementors guide w/ recommendation

	Again, Best Practices or Implementation guides not new Notification mechanism invention.

	It was decited that currently, this should be considered independently from the Discovery topic.
