  - Smith posted draft agendas and we seem to have a stable first cut after 
    feedback from Alan / Ira / Mike
    - Shrink System Service session to end at 2pm
    - Set Plenary for 90 minutes (9-10:30am) or move most of the 3D liaison detail 
      to the IPP 3D session on second day and keep 60 minute Plenary session and 
      keep the plenary slide deck tight...
    - Fix / proofread AM / PM labels

  - Live edited the agenda and it now looks good

(4) PWG and AMSC/ISO - Status (Paul)

- Discussion
  - ISO JTC1 
    - Paul needs to send comments back to ISO study group tonight

    - ISO 3 areas: Medical, one other one, and a sort of "intro" segment including 
      a dictionary
  
    - Resurgent ISO effort to evangelize AMF as a standard format to fend off 3MF
      - uhhhhh.....what?

    - AMF is an approved ISO standard (but nobody uses it), while 3MF is external to ISO
      but it is being implemented
      - 3MF specs are freely available
      - AMF spec is paywalled by ISO

    - How much leverage does ISO to cause AMF to be adopted by implementors? 
      - Seemingly very little...

  - AMSC
    - AMSC has finished its 2.0 effort and is now asleep / dormant until they figure 
      out if they are going to do a 3.0

    - AMSC and ISO efforts are trying to do the same things but who they are accepting 
      is different

    - Participant beedback is that even AMSC is going too slow (and ISO is moving at a 
      glacial pace)

  - Smith still needs to contact 3MF officers (Kurt Hunter and others) about this (again)

(6) PWG / Mopria Liaison - Status (Smith)

- Discussion
  - Jeremy Reitz (Xerox) and Alan Berkema (HP) to contact Smith once they have Mopria 
    steering committee approval to do so, or something...

(7) IPP Everywhere name listing on Linux OpenPrinting website (Smith / Ira)

- Discussion
  - Smith and Ira have discussed with Aveek Basu and Till Kamppeter about where the
    IPP Everywhere™ listing might go
    - Waiting for Aveek and Till to suggest a good place on their website

  - Smith to inquire with Till about getting Ubuntu to present "IPP Everywhere™" as 
    a label in the Ubuntu printer listing / whatever UI

  - Smith reached out to Mike Sweet and Sean Kau (Google) about getting IPP Everywhere™ 
    to be named client-side in CUPS and Chrome OS, respectively
    - Mike has added this task for next release of CUPS 2.2.x / 2.3.x

- Discussion
  - Ira working on slides / paper covering SSL / TLS history and proper use 
    - Would that be useful in the context of IPP / PWG documents? 

  - TLS/1.3 changes will have a potentially GREAT impact wherever TLS is employed

  - TLS/1.3 changes
    - cipher suite negotiation is different
    - handshake phase is different

  - Possibly impacted PWG/IETF IPP documents
    - IPP Authentication Methods
    - IPP Implementors Guide v2
    - ipps URI (RFC 7472)

Previous Action Items

ACTION: Ira to document OID arc usage in PWG
- OPEN - pwg-mib-numbers-20091220.txt
- "arc" is any single value (often least-significant) in an OID - Existing plain text PWG policy and registry for each PWG MIB base OID - IBM gave PWG a permanent arc for LDAP OIDs for Print Schema (RFC 7612)
- LDAP OIDs to be documented in a additional policy and registry in ".../process/"
ACTION: Ira to update "pwg-namespace-policy-20060112.txt" - add "white" prefix and update project and document lifecycles
- IN PROGRESS - pwg-namespace-policy-20160820.txt is first draft
ACTION: Smith/Ira to write job descriptions for PWG Chair, PWG Vice-Chair, and PWG Secretary
- IN PROGRESS - should result into a new policy document (eventually plain text but start with MS Word working drafts)
- Smith sent initial draft to Ira - Ira proofed and posted for SC review - feedback from Bill requesting more details on the specific responsibilities of each officer - next draft out soon?
ACTION: Ira and Alan work w/ Anne Price to develop a joint TCG/PWG demo of HCD-TNC profile in a Printer with a Router or OS evaluating the Printer Health

ACTION: Smith/Mike/Ira/anybody to draft whitepaper on late binding for best fidelity in Cloud servers, intent vs. process for output fidelity, and the fundamental design ethos of the PWG's work

ACTION: Smith to follow up with Anne Price about press releases for IPP/1.1 (RFC 8010 / 8011), IPP 3D Print, IPP Finishings/2.1, and IPP Everywhere with certified products

ACTION: Smith to ask Jane how he can converse directly with the lawyer doing the filing to check on IPP Everywhere trademark. If that doesn't work, plan is to move to a "™" on the "IPP Everywhere™" icon / trademark listing and then wait for a suitable "specimen of use" to appear

ACTION: Paul to write back to his AWS contact a discussion of what PWG is actually trying to do, and decide on an appropriate path forward, because it isn't clear that getting the PWG to have "advisor status" will help liaison
