(4) Future of PWG / PR efforts - Status (Smith/Ira)

- Discussion
  - Push back on ISTO about having a contract 
    - We want this to be nimble, having a fixed detailed SoW will cause thrash and overhead
    - If we can do this with a vague SoW then fine

  - SC members should be thinking about the PR announcement road map / pipeline and about 
    wanting to get new topics into that pipeline
    - Any spec finalized, etc.

  - New "pr@pwg.org" email address created, forwards to Anne and all SC

(5) Open Printing GSoC 2019 / new website - Status (Ira)

- Discussion
  - GSoC 2019 timeline
    - DONE - 6-27 May - Students get to know mentors, read documentation, get up to speed 
      to begin coding

    - DONE - 27 May - Coding officially begins!

    - 24-28 June - Mentors and students do Phase 1 evaluations

    - 22-26 July - Mentors and students do Phase 2 evaluations

    - 19-26 August - Students submit final work product and their final mentor evaluation

    - 26 August to 2 September - Mentors submit final student evaluations

  - GSoC 2019 gave 12 slots to Linux Foundation, including all 5 OP slots - awesome! 

  - OP new website development is paused due to GSoC 2019 startup

    - ISTO answer was that managed web hosting is fine, so long as the provider signs an
      appropriate Terms and Conditions from ISTO or provides appropriate Terms and 
      Conditions to satisfy compliance with or protections from GDPR and California Privacy 
      and other current (and future?) privacy regulations

ACTION: Ira to document OID arc usage in PWG

- "arc" is any single value (often least-significant) in an OID - Existing plain text PWG policy and registry for each PWG MIB base OID - IBM gave PWG a permanent arc for LDAP OIDs for Print Schema (RFC 7612)
- LDAP OIDs to be documented in a additional policy and registry in ".../process/"
ACTION: Ira to update "pwg-namespace-policy-20060112.txt" - add "white" prefix and update project and document lifecycles
