  - Proposed by Ira on SC reflector

  - Best practices and Requirements informational documents should have durable numbers
    - Mike, Smith, and Bill voiced their support for this in responses on the SC reflector

  - Any other document types that should have durable numbers?
    - No, numbers for registrations aren't necessary because registrations are so small

    - Linking to a mailing list seems a bit fragile to Smith, but it has worked across 
      four different PWG hosting providers, so the email links should be fine

    - In the long run, it would be nice if the policy handling registrations would be to
      scoop up loose registrations into a specification. 

    - Is there an SMI MIB maintenance practice that we could adapt to our own processes?
      - IANA Printer MIB already supports registrations (Mike/Ira are Designated Experts)

  - How to approve new policy?
    - Update in the "policy on namespaces" (document numbering) that SC has yet to approve
      - see link above

  - Should 3D focused documents be in their own number space?
    - 3D numbering is going to be important for their reuse

    - Should we also or instead add a "3D Printing Standards and Documents" tab or list 
      of documents in the 3D Printing page? 
      - There are already two (IPP 3D Printing Extensions v1.1 and 3D PJT v1.0)

(5) Open Printing GSoC 2019 / new website - Status (Ira)

  - GSoC 2019 update
    - Things are going well and off and working for GSoC 2019
    - Mike has created branches / projects / targets etc. for this work on GitHub

  - GSoC 2019 timeline
    - DONE - 6-27 May - Students get to know mentors, read documentation, get up to speed 
      to begin coding

    - DONE - 27 May - Coding officially begins!

    - DONE - 24-28 June - Mentors and students do Phase 1 evaluations
      - Two developers are doing ipptool test updates (System Service and Errata: Job Exts, 
        Document Object, Production Printing Exts) - both passed in their Phase 1 evaluation
      - Developer questions on the reflector - some awaiting some answers (Smith....)

    - 22-26 July - Mentors and students do Phase 2 evaluations

    - 19-26 August - Students submit final work product and their final mentor evaluation

    - 26 August to 2 September - Mentors submit final student evaluations

  - Possible tool to create conformance requirements from prose 
    - "This REQUIRED attribute..." --> Conformance Requirements / IANA Considerations
    - Maybe a future OP GSoC project?

    - passed on to Jessica (ISTO) for review who noted the dues owed (membership agreement,

    - Signing an INCITS liaison agreement would allow Paul to report more broadly within

- "arc" is any single value (often least-significant) in an OID - Existing plain text PWG policy and registry for each PWG MIB base OID - IBM gave PWG a permanent arc for LDAP OIDs for Print Schema (RFC 7612)
- LDAP OIDs to be documented in a additional policy and registry in ".../process/"
ACTION: Ira to update "pwg-namespace-policy-20060112.txt" - add "white" prefix and update project and document lifecycles
