  - Anne is working on a draft document and some email summaries of various documents

  - Discussed having a plugfest or virtual plugfest or something that would help along 
    various PWG participants to get them to reach IPP Everywhere certification
    - Goal is to build brand awareness for IPP Everywhere™ by getting more vendors' 
      certifications

    - Probably not practical for November 2019, maybe for February or May 2020?

(6) Open Printing GSoC 2019 / new website - Status (Ira)

- Discussion
  - GSoC 2019 update
    - Things are going well for GSoC 2019
      - Coming up on students "pencils down" on 26 August 2019
      - Ira to report results at PWG August F2F

    - All 5 OP students passed Phase 1 and Phase 2 evaluations
      - One OP student finished their project early and has started another project
      - Work ongoing on updates to test suites for 5100.3, 5100.5, 5100.7 and System Service

    - But 2 of 7 other Linux Foundation students failed their Phase 2 evaluations
      - Not uncommon (Phase 1 evaluations are usually more lenient)

  - GSoC 2019 timeline
    - DONE - 6-27 May - Students get to know mentors, read documentation, get up to speed 
      to begin coding

    - DONE - 27 May - Coding officially begins!

    - DONE - 24-28 June - Mentors and students do Phase 1 evaluations
 
    - DONE - 22-26 July - Mentors and students do Phase 2 evaluations

    - DONE - 19-26 August - Students submit final work product and final mentor evaluations

    - Smith showed pictures that confirmed that INCITS is the right group to do it

- "arc" is any single value (often least-significant) in an OID - Existing plain text PWG policy and registry for each PWG MIB base OID - IBM gave PWG a permanent arc for LDAP OIDs for Print Schema (RFC 7612)
- LDAP OIDs to be documented in a additional policy and registry in ".../process/"
ACTION: Smith/Mike/Ira/anybody to draft whitepaper on late binding for best fidelity in Cloud servers, intent vs. process for output fidelity, and the fundamental design ethos of the PWG's work
