  - First draft of an IPP Everywhere v1.1 press release shared to SC

  - Bill replied with some changes

  - Comments and feedback during SC call
    - If target audience is correct, still seems to be too verbose

    - Without more customer visibility that IPP Everywhere is being used, is there any value in
      speaking to the community consisting of those unaware of IPP Everywhere
      - Link to external page and leave it at that?

    - Ideas for next draft content
      - Option 1: Talk up IPP in general more and not focus on IPP Everywhere specifically

      - Option 2: Eliminate the expansive description and just keep it tight and crisp on v1.1
        updates

    - New PWG IPP Press Statement template ought to *start* with "IPP is the foundation of printing 
      on all platforms worldwide."

ACTION: 10/05/20 - Smith to post new PWG IPP Press Statement template and also a new draft of IPP Everywhere press release with concise IPP Everywhere content (after running passive voice grammar checker)

(5) Marketing IPP Everywhere as a replacement for Google Cloud Print? (Smith)

- Discussion
  - Have had a brief dialogue with Google about this, suggesting some additional UI elements 
    to make IPP Everywhere support more visible

  - Dialogue is currently stalled

  - Smith to re-engage with Google about IPP Everywhere

(6) Working with INCITS to develop a 3D Printing Protection Profile (Alan / Paul)

- Discussion
  - Alan and Paul need to schedule up some time to collaborate

  - Paul reviewing content sent to him by Alan and will set up a meeting for those two to 
    get together

  - Paul and Alan to show a first draft next week at the SC TT next week (10/12/20)

  - INCITS presentation date is Tuesday 10/20/20

(8) GSoC/GSoD/LFMP 2020 - Update (Ira)

- Discussion
  - OP GSoC (Google Season of Code) - complete on 09/08/20
    - 1 student dropped out in July (project continues in LFMP)

    - 1 student failed at end of August (project continues in LFMP)

  - OP GSoD (Google Season of Docs) - student projects in progress
    - GSoD technical writer projects were accepted on 08/16/20

  - LFMP (Linux Foundation Mentorship Program) - student projects in progress
    - IPP Scan project moved with two students to LFMP

    - IPP FaxOut project added with two students to LFMP

  - Smith working on a few slides for presentation at their F2F

  - Mopria proposed topic scope is pretty narrow to fit into 20 minutes allotted by Mopria

(10) AMSC/ISO Liaisons - Status (Paul)

- Discussion
  - American Concrete (ACI) Fall Convention is this month
    - PWG webinar requested by the 3D Printing workgroup at ACI
      - Demonstrating how to share files usable across different concrete 3D printers from 
        different manufaturers

    - Also a request for how to use 3D PDF for printing concrete (and have this be separate in an 
      ad-hoc)

ACTION: Ira to document OID arc usage in PWG

- "arc" is any single value (often least-significant) in an OID - Existing plain text PWG policy and registry for each PWG MIB base OID - IBM gave PWG a permanent arc for LDAP OIDs for Print Schema (RFC 7612)
- LDAP OIDs to be documented in a additional policy and registry in ".../process/"
ACTION: Smith/Mike/Ira/anybody to draft whitepaper on late binding for best fidelity in Cloud servers, intent vs. process for output fidelity, and the fundamental design ethos of the PWG's work

- Perhaps have as a topic for some future PWG F2F to enumerate core set of concepts with which to construct an outline for the document
- Smith to add discussion of this late binding for the future F2F Plenary
ACTION: Smith/Jessica to update "liaison agreement template" or create new "license agreement template" that would allow a partner to grant to PWG the right to use or reference content within - should this be created by the PWG or by the org that is granting the license?
