- Discussion - Smith had contacted Michelle Hunt (ISTO Legal) about Process 4.0 and some related stuff and she pointed out that preambles for PWG meetings need to have an antitrust reminder statement.ACTION: 01/14/21 - Smith to ask Michelle for the Antitrust Reminder statement from ISTO and also make sure it is applicable / legitimate for not only USA but is rather applicable worldwide.

- Discussion - How's it going today? WELL! - Are any "hosts" able to use new WebEx? - Yes - used successfully for IPP WG on Thursday 01/14/21 - Smith shared the new WebEx credentials during today's meetingACTION: 01/14/21 - Smith to schedule IPP WG / IDS WG / SC / F2F WebEx meetings
- Discussion - INCITS is looking at the AMSC gaps list and is working to come up with projects - A biggie might be 3D scanning and IPP 3D scanning - Would require authoring an IPP 3D Scan specification
- Discussion - ISO TR 22100-4: best practice document already published - Paul is trying to figure out the current status and what is going on in TC44 (where the normative specs would or are coming from in this space) - Ira listed all of these groups and their spec authors and Paul knocked on doors to figure out whether what they are working on dovetails with 3D Printing PP initiative
- Discussion - Smith posted a new draft of Process 4.0 on 01/05/21 - Smith admitted that he was struggling with updating the document - Alan offered to help - Ira suggested making incremental changes to create a Process 3.1 (an errata update) - Smith posted draft of Process 3.1 on 01/06/21 - SC will review at the SC Tiger Team on 01/18/21
- Discussion - CUPS OpenPrinting v2.3.3op1 - released on 27 November 2020 - First release in CUPS OP fork (until Apple resumes support for CUPS). - Already made it into Debian unstable and will soon get merged into Ubuntu Hirsute Hippo (21.04). - Also, the CUPS Snap is updated to this version of CUPS OP. - PAPPL v1.0.0 - released on 12/11/20 - First stable release of PAPPL is now available for download. - PAPPL is a simple C-based framework/library for developing CUPS Printer Applications, which are the recommended replacement for traditional printer drivers. - CUPS Filters v1.28.7 - released on 01/07/21 - Bug fix release. - OP GSoC 2021 - planning - in progress - Currently looking for project ideas for next year’s GSoC. - Student projects will only be half the time (6 weeks). - OP GSoD (Google Season of Docs) 2020 - completed on 12/05/20 - 1 student made excellent progress on Printer Applications documentation. - LFMP (Linux Foundation Mentorship Program) - completed in December 2020 - IPP Scan - 2 students made good progress - completeness is TBD. - IPP FaxOut - 2 students dropped out in October and November 2020. - OP Steering Committee - OP monthly calls 11/10/20, 12/08/20, 01/12/21, and upcoming 02/02/21.
