  - A bit of discussion about the F2F in the tiger team last week 
    - Consensus was that it went well and was fairly well attended

  - All sessions went pretty smoothly

  - A real Physical F2F would be nice :)
    - Some members might not be able to travel, but their travel policies might change in 
      early 2022

    - Sticky note for the monitor: maybe send out an EARLY survey to understand whether 
      members will be free to travel

    - Perhaps we change things up with what months we meet? 
      - Perhaps February / April / July / September?

PWG Process 4.0 and Policies - status (All)

  - Process 4.0
    - Smith still in the process of cleaning up the latest draft and getting it to a state 
      where we can move forward - hope to get that by the end of the day

  - GSoC 2021 Mentors Conference on 11/05/21 - major changes for GSoC 2022 (Till)
    - Eligible Contributors - not only Students
      - From now on it will not be required to be a university/college student. 
      - Anyone 18 years old can participate.

    - Two project sizes: 
      - 16 GSoCs with ~350-hour projects, then 2021 with ~175-hour projects.
      - Now we can have both. 
      - The organizations can select from these two sizes for each project idea they offer.

    - Coding period flexibility: 
      - Before, there was always a fixed time period of ~3 months in which the projects had 
        to be completed.
      - Also with fixed dates for the 2 or 3 evaluations. 
      - From 2022 on, the project period can be extended to 22 weeks on agreement between 
        mentor and contrbutor.

  - Paul has posted many messages to the SC reflector recently

  - FormNext: 
   - Went back to human-only Physical F2F meeting
   - ASTM has acquired Terry Wohler's consulting company
   - We in the PWG SC ought to discuss what we want out of our liaison with ASTM F42
   - Paul couldn't attend FormNext because it was in-person only
   - Formnext Digital Days on 30 November 2021 to 1 December 2021
     - Possibility for Paul to present on job ticketing exists for 2022
   - Also had their "Center of Excellence" during the F2F - attend virtually or in-person
   - Paul is monitoring FormNext 2022 conference rates (they go up and down)

  - INCITS:
    - Meeting is tomorrow afternoon (11/16/21)
    - Feedback on their model for a manufacturing facility
    - They want other standards bodies to show how their bits might be employed within that
      model so that their value proposition might be evaluated
    - 2-hour INCITS workshop on 12/09/21
      - Paul planning to attend

  - ACI:
    - Paul to send query about membership and work with them about how to use our sample
      projects to evaluate IPP 3D or to produce Job and Job ticket files and evaluate them 
      for interoperability

      been sent to all the contacts as a group, so that they could coordinate efforts if 
      needed

- "arc" is any single value (often least-significant) in an OID - Existing plain text PWG policy and registry for each PWG MIB base OID - IBM gave PWG a permanent arc for LDAP OIDs for Print Schema (RFC 7612)
- LDAP OIDs to be documented in a additional policy and registry in ".../process/"
ACTION: Smith/Mike/Ira/anybody to draft whitepaper on late binding for best fidelity in Cloud servers, intent vs. process for output fidelity, and the fundamental design ethos of the PWG's work
